This is one of the final clips that we came up with after talking to Lee about re-editing to make the ending more powerful and have a stronger message.

Crazy Dishwasher Ad

Stranger Than Fiction uses the idea of the white lines moving across surfaces and white descriptive text from this ad!! We really like this effect and we are trying to portray how the our “future phone” interacts with people and its surroundings - by both scanning information and data and sending it. We even thought it could gain energy and “charge up” from its surroundings in this way.

13/06/2009 Pressure

Starting to feel the pressure now that the due date is only days away, though I do feel we are in a good place especially if we manage to keep up our huge effort that we have been able to put in this past week. Photoshoping is slow work as each of the frames must be individually edited to make sure they are each as perfect as we can get them, we are still working out the kinks but I feel we are both pleased with the shape our clip is taking.

After gaining permision to use Tiki’s song (Alway’s on My Mind) i added it to the serries of takes we did of the final scene of Jess’s and my hand coming together through the virtual surface. This gives us a feel of what it could be like, we will also add it to a more finalised photoshoped version of our clip so we can make a final desicion on exactly what song/artist we use.

More Work

Last night was another of little sleep as we endevard to get both our 101 and 111 models finished in time. Our clip is still going well with around 40 frames comppletly photoshoped and with another 40 to be slightly retouched. We have come across an problem though, in the final scene the hands reaching for each other don’t match up at all, we will belooking at ways to fix this today. On the music side Tiki’s song - Always on my mind - is looking more and more suited, however we are still exploring other possible options just incase.

This is the first half (nearly) of our clip, there are still some things that need looking at, such as:

- :(  emoticon

- Blured lines instead of solid white?

- delete the white border around the phone?

- speed of frames

- music

12/06/09 Photoshoping.

Today and yesterday were more days of photoshoping, we have sorted out the pictures we want for all but the final scene (of which we shot today) this will be done shortly. Jess is very well organised on the music side of the clip, gaining permision from Tiki and (pending) Batcherlerette while I photoshop the frames, with her advice to keep me in line. Once again our ability to work as a team is proving extreamly useful as we are able to play to our individual strenghts and cover each others weaknesses. Jess’s fun and very enthusiastic personality is contageous and we had a lot of fun today while still managing to get through a large amount of work. Still a lot to do though!
